The Young Theatre [at Beaconsfield]

The Young Theatre was orginally formed in North Harrow in 1964 by Ian R Wallace.
A second Young Theatre group was later formed in Beaconsfield on 31st May 1971.
Young Theatre's aims is that it is a Theatre Group run for Young People by Young People.
The core age of the group is 10 years old to 18 years old.
Young Theatre's home is The Curzon Centre in Maxwell Road, where the group meets every Sunday afternoon.

Aladdin - The Beaconsfield Panto
All your favourite characters appear: Aladdin, his brother Wishy Washee, his mother Widow Twankey, the evil uncle Abanazer, the Genies of the Ring and the Lamp, Ping and Pond the Policemen, a singing Panda, The Emporer of China and his daughter Princess Jasmine to name but a few. The production contains all the usual panto madness; audience participation, songs and dance, slapstick and splat. A script which contains all the ingredients for an hilarious afternoon out. Even an appearance by Father Christmas himself. |
